Phlegraean Film Festival

ENG/ The Phlegraean Film Festival is the first film festival organized in the Phlaegrean Fields. A festival of international scope that will host the talents of national and international short cinema in the Phlegraean territory - mainly the city of Bacoli.​ The Festival has a twofold objective: on the one hand to offer the filmmakers a new and unprecedented space of expression, paying particular attention to the professionalism of their work; on the other, to make the Phlaegrean Fields a showcase with its many architectural treasures open to all Italy. The Phlegraean Film Festival stands as a solid Italian film reality. For this reason, the prizes for which the participants will compete will be the "great classics" of major film festivals. In order: Best Short Film Best Director Best Screenplay Best Cinematography Best Assembly Best Actor Best Actress Best Soundtrack​ Best Make Up Best Production Design Best Animation Short Best Documentary Short Best Music Video The jury is made up of members of the cultural association "Drazil Production", for years specialized in the film industry, boasting numerous participations in many events of this kind and, to ensure even greater professionalism, they will be joined by external jury for each category. These external jurors will be sector technicians chosen for their competence.​ ​The prizes will consist of commemorative plaques for each category, presented to the winners on the day of the award ceremony by one of the members of the cultural association of Drazil Production or by one of the external jury members.​ In addition, starting from the third edition, the Phlegreaean Photograph competition is held. Phlegraean Photograph is a photo contest that takes place in conjunction with the Phlegraean Film Festival. On this occasion, it was decided to dedicate a space exclusively dedicated to the art of Photography in all its forms, establishing an exhibition of photos that will last for the duration of the event. The jury, composed of experts present in the Festival Organization, will select 10 finalist authors among all the submitted proposals. These will see their works presented in an exhibition set up by the Organization itself in the framework of the Festival. The works will be printed on photographic panels, at the expense of the Organization, and the exhibition will be set up in the utmost professionalism and respect for each competitor. The works on display will be judged by the public and the jury and, during the final evening of the event, will be awarded the Best Photography Award, consisting of a commemorative plaque. Registration for the festival will start on 01/05/2021. The final awards ceremony of the festival will be held on October 2021 in Bacoli (Naples) in the Sala Ostrichina.​ The awards ceremony will be completely dedicated to the competitors and to all those who have made sure that the whole event takes place. The five nominees for the "Best Short Film" category will be screened, alternating the screenings with the awarding of the other categories by the jurors or guests. For the Fourth Edition of the Festival, we decided to establish a thematic section dedicated to all the works that pay more attention to ecological and environmental issues. ​The Jury of this section will be formed by the members of Legambiente Campi Flegrei. ​ITA/ Il Phlegraean Film Festival è il primo festival cinematografico organizzato nella zona dei Campi Flegrei. Un festival di respiro internazionale che potrà ospitare sul territorio flegreo - ed in particolare nella città di Bacoli - i talenti del cinema breve. Il Festival si pone, quindi, un duplice obbiettivo: da un lato quello di offrire ai cineasti un nuovo ed inedito spazio di espressione, prestando particolare attenzione alla professionalità del proprio lavoro; dall’altro, quello di rendere i Campi Flegrei una vetrina aperta a tutta l’Italia per le tante bellezze. ​Il Phlegraean Film Festival si pone come una solida realtà cinematografica italiana. Per questo motivo, i premi saranno i “grandi classici” dei maggiori festival cinematografici. In ordine: Miglior Cortometraggio Miglior Regia Miglior Sceneggiatura Miglior Fotografia Miglior Montaggio Miglior Attore Miglior Attrice Miglior Colonna Sonora​ Miglior Trucco Miglior Scenografia Miglior Corto d'Animazione Miglior Corto Documentario Miglior Videoclip Musicale ​La giuria è composta dai membri dell’associazione culturale “Drazil Production”, da anni specializzati nel settore cinematografico, vantando numerose partecipazioni a tantissimi eventi del genere, e per garantire ancora una maggiore professionalità, saranno affiancati da giurati esterni per ogni categoria. Tali giurati esterni saranno tecnici del settore scelti per la loro competenza.​ ​I premi saranno costituiti da targhe celebrative per ogni categoria, consegnate ai vincitori il giorno della premiazione da uno dei membri dell’associazione culturale della Drazil Production oppure da uno dei giurati esterni. ​ ​ In oltre, a partire dalla terza edizione, è indetto il concorso fotografico Phlegreaean Photograph. Il Phlegraean Photograph è un concorso fotografico che si svolge collateralmente al Phlegraean Film Festival. In questa occasione, si è deciso di dedicare uno spazio esclusivamente dedicato all'arte della Fotografia in ogni sua declinazione, instaurando una mostra di foto che si protrarrà per tutta la durata dell'evento. ​ La giuria, composta da esperti presenti nell'Organizzazione del Festival, selezionerà 10 autori finalisti tra tutte le proposte presentate. Questi vedranno le proprie opere esposte in una mostra allestita dall'Organizzazione stessa nella cornice del Festival. Le opere saranno stampate su pannelli fotografici, a carico dell'Oganizzazione, e la mostra verrà allestita nella massima professionalità e nel rispetto di ogni concorrente. Le opere esposte saranno sottoposte a giudizio del pubblico e della giuria e, durante la serata finale dell'evento, sarà assegnato il Premio alla Miglior Fotografia, consistente in una targa celebrativa. ​Le iscrizioni al festival partiranno il giorno 01/05/2021. La serata di premiazione, conclusiva quindi del festival stesso, si terrà nell'Ottobre 2021 a Bacoli (Napoli) presso la Sala Ostrichina del Parco Vanvitelliano del Fusaro.​ ​La serata di premiazione del sarà dedicata completamente ai concorrenti in gara e a tutti coloro che avranno fatto sì che l’intero evento si realizzasse. Verranno proiettati i cinque nominati per la categoria “Miglior Cortometraggio”, intervallando le proiezioni con le premiazioni delle altre categorie da parte dei giurati o degli ospiti. Per la Quarta Edizione del Festival, abbiamo deciso di instaurare una sezione tematica dedicata a tutte le opere pongono maggiormente l'attenzione alle tematiche ecologiche ed ambientali. ​La Giuria di questa sezione sarà formata dai Soci di Legambiente dei Campi Flegrei.
