VII Premio Fausto Rossano

We accept only films about the right to health and subtitled in Italian or English The Fausto Rossano Award Association promotes the seventh edition of the “Premio Fausto Rossano” that will take place at the end of October 2021, in Naples, Italy. The award commemorates the life and work of Jungian psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Fausto Rossano, who died in 2012. It is the purpose of the award to combat the stigma and prejudices that surround the many forms of psychic suffering and the importance of the individual person in the concrete context of his or her life by stimulating social awareness through the language of cinematography and dialogue with authors, professionals and experts of the field. The Award is sponsored by the Premio Fausto Rossano Association La settima edizione del Premio Cinematografico “Fausto Rossano” e la prima edizione del "Primo Piano Film Festival" si svolgerà a fine ottobre 2021 a Napoli. Il premio nasce con l’intento di ricordare la figura e il lavoro dello psichiatra e psicanalista junghiano Fausto Rossano, scomparso nel 2012. Il Premio si pone gli obiettivi di sensibilizzare, attraverso il linguaggio cinematografico e il confronto tra autori, esperti e testimoni, la coscienza sociale alla lotta contro lo stigma e i pregiudizi che circondano la sofferenza psichica nelle sue più varie accezioni e di promuovere la centralità delle persone nei contesti concreti della loro vita.
