Queer North Film Festival (QNFF) is currently the only queer film festival in Northern Ontario. QNFF celebrates the diversity of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and two-spirited communities through quality cinema. This edition, the festival will span 6 days in July drawing on audiences also participating in Fierte Sudbury Pride with attendance anticipated from across the region. Film premieres, artist talks, panel discussions and socials that focus squarely on the queer community through screening films and videos from Canada and around the world. Part of QNFF’s mission is to encourage the professional development of Northern Ontario queer film and video artists and support for their work.
