The Rome International Film Festival is a showcase of innovative filmmaking. We are a Filmmakers Film Festival, and we pride ourselves on such. The festival takes place in Rome, Georgia, USA. Rome is a charming town that boasts the most extensive collection of Victorian homes in the state. The city perched along the confluence of rivers and nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The film screenings take place in two beautiful historic theatres. The entire festival is easily walkable.
The Rome International Film Festival has created a distinguished record for showcasing breakthrough artists from local Georgian's to filmmakers worldwide. Many of RIFF's Alumni who first presented shared films at the festival are now well established in the entertainment industry. RIFF also curates legacy films as part of the festival bringing in established industry icons who share their knowledge in masterclasses and workshops.
