RKDS FILM FEST

The RKDS FILM FEST was created to bring awareness to the Film Industry in South Georgia. RKDS Entertainment & Media, LLC owners and Filmmakers, Roy Kirkland and Doug Sebastian, have been working diligently to build the film industry in Valdosta, GA. This will be the 4th annual RKDS Film Festival! The 1st Annual 2018 RKDS FILM FESTIVAL WAS AN ABSOLUTE SUCCESS FEATURING HOLLYWOOD LEGEND, BURT REYNOLDS AND OTHER CELEBRITIES, SONNY SHROYER, SIMONE GRIFFETH and RICKY SHRODER. Sadly, this was the last Film Festival for our beloved friend, Burt Reynolds. The 2nd Annual RKDS FILM FEST was even bigger. Celebrity guest Sonny Shroyer was honored with a Key to the City and a Proclamation from Gov. Brian Kemp. With over 100 films shown and a political debate included along with a Car Stars Show featuring the General Lee, Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am and Sheriffs car and the Batmobile with lookalikes as well. The 3rd Annual RKDS FILM FEST was online only due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, featuring shorts and feature films submitted from all over. The 4th Annual RKDS FILM FEST will be held at the Valdosta Performing Arts Center November 12-13, 2021 in Valdosta, GA.
