Many independent and student films are truly amazing! But these films rarely get the attention they deserve.

To fix this we've created Vurchel. Here we are collecting all the independent cinema in one convenient place, where you can watch most of the films for free.

Most films are available online only 2-3 years after they have screened at festivals. It can be tough to track them down, but Vurchel makes it easy! Simply press the heart icon next to a film title, and we'll send you an email notification as soon as that film is available for online streaming!

Hot Barrels and Tight Lines. NZ Rod&Rifle Magazine presents the NZ Rod&Rifle Film Festival. NZ Rod&Rifle Film Festival is a collection of short films that celebrate hunting and the culture that surrounds it. Each one is up to 20 minutes long. The films feature a wide spectrum of experiences, stories and images around hunting big or small game, waterfowl, upland game birds or pest control hunts. Some will make you laugh. Some will make you think. The common theme is that they are all for, about or inspired by hunting and related outdoor activities. The films will be chosen for quality of production, uniqueness and program variety.
