Roots of Europe International Film Festival

Roots of Europe Cultural Association presents REIFF 2022 FIFTH EDITION, a film festival that will take place from April 4th to 8th, 2022 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava. The festival, which celebrates its fifth edition, has two main objectives: 1. Promote, through cinema, the integration of Europe from the knowledge of its rich cultural creation and great values, convinced that a strong common cultural awareness, which is also respectful of its rich diversity, will enable a more united society, which will it will enrich and allow us to face higher challenges, both inside and outside our borders, in favor of the dignity of every person, an even stronger conviction in the current moments of crisis. 2. Facilitate the approach of Europe to the world and the world to Europe, through the knowledge of the great cultural creation and values that have grown in Europe, convinced that this approach will improve Europe and the rest of the world, facilitating in turn coexistence and peace. We are convinced that cinema, by its very essence, will be able to reflect, deepen and disseminate both objectives in an extraordinary way. With renewed enthusiasm we invite you to participate in REIFF 2022 and we hope to meet you during the days of celebration of the festival. La Asociación Cultural Raíces de Europa presenta REIFF 2022 QUINTA EDICIÓN, festival de cine que tendrá lugar del 4 al 8 de abril de 2022 en Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava. El festival, que celebra su quinta edición, tiene dos objetivos principales: 1. Promover, mediante el cine, la integración de Europa desde el conocimiento de su riquísima creación cultural y grandes valores, convencidos de que una fuerte conciencia cultural común, que sea también respetuosa con su rica diversidad, posibilitará una sociedad más unida, que nos enriquecerá y permitirá acometer retos más altos, dentro y fuera de nuestras fronteras, en favor de la dignidad de toda persona, convicción aún más fuerte en los actuales momentos de crisis. 2. Facilitar el acercamiento de Europa al mundo y del mundo a Europa, a través del conocimiento de la gran creación cultural y valores que han crecido en Europa, convencidos de que este acercamiento mejorará a Europa y al resto del mundo, facilitando a su vez la convivencia y la paz. Estamos convencidos de que el cine, por su misma esencia, conseguirá reflexionar, profundizar y difundir ambos objetivos de un modo extraordinario.
