Many independent and student films are truly amazing! But these films rarely get the attention they deserve.

To fix this we've created Vurchel. Here we are collecting all the independent cinema in one convenient place, where you can watch most of the films for free.

Most films are available online only 2-3 years after they have screened at festivals. It can be tough to track them down, but Vurchel makes it easy! Simply press the heart icon next to a film title, and we'll send you an email notification as soon as that film is available for online streaming!

Our mission is two-fold: 1) to explore and promote the possibilities of smartphone filmmaking, and 2) to showcase and support smartphone filmmakers.
