To fix this we've created Vurchel. Here we are collecting all the independent cinema in one convenient place, where you can watch most of the films for free.

Most films are available online only 2-3 years after they have screened at festivals. It can be tough to track them down, but Vurchel makes it easy! Simply press the heart icon next to a film title, and we'll send you an email notification as soon as that film is available for online streaming!

The Virginia Environmental Film Contest (VEFC) is an important part of the 12th annual Richmond Environmental Film Festival (RVA EFF). This contest is open to new and experienced Virginia filmmakers submitting films on environmental topics focusing on Virginia. The First Prize Winner will be screened Sunday, February 20th, 2022. Please carefully read the Rules and Terms for submission requirements. Films that do not meet the Rules and Terms will not be considered for the Film Contest. If you have specific questions about submitting a film, contact a contest director.
