Many independent and student films are truly amazing! But these films rarely get the attention they deserve.

To fix this we've created Vurchel. Here we are collecting all the independent cinema in one convenient place, where you can watch most of the films for free.

Never miss out on a film you're interested in!

Most films are available online only 2-3 years after they have screened at festivals. It can be tough to track them down, but Vurchel makes it easy! Simply press the heart icon next to a film title, and we'll send you an email notification as soon as that film is available for online streaming!

The Salem State University dance program, in collaboration with the Salem State University Center for Creative and Performing Arts and Creative Collective, invited submissions of short dance films for its first-ever Dance Film Festival, held September 25, 2020. The Festival will return in 2022. Details to be announced.
