To fix this we've created Vurchel. Here we are collecting all the independent cinema in one convenient place, where you can watch most of the films for free.

Most films are available online only 2-3 years after they have screened at festivals. It can be tough to track them down, but Vurchel makes it easy! Simply press the heart icon next to a film title, and we'll send you an email notification as soon as that film is available for online streaming!

SalinaDocFest is a documentary film festival, which takes place in September on the island of Salina off the coast of Sicily. Founded and directed by Giovanni Taviani, the festival presents a selection of the most interesting documentaries produced in the Mediterranean region. The theme of this year’s edition of the Festival, and of the International Documentary Competition is "FEARS DREAMS VISIONS". Together with live screenings, the festival also hosts Q&A discussions with directors. This year edition will have a three days event also in Rome in October (1-3 2021)
