San Diego Film Week

The 5th Annual San Diego Film Week is a celebration of film in America's Finest City. Over 100 local, national, and international films will be showcased along with workshops, parties, and panels. Showcasing a variety of local films as well as "Best-of" selections from San Diego's diverse film festivals. Due to the continued global health crisis, we’ve been working hard to adapt our schedule and programming for Film Week. Additionally we’re pleased that there has been wide interest in Film Week this year from our existing partners as well as new organizations and companies in San Diego. This has allowed us to find unique and innovative ways to showcase local films in exciting, innovative but safe ways. We are still planning to showcase as many displaced films as possible from 2020 Film Week but because of the current conditions and the new opportunities, Film Week is going to look very different in 2021/2022. The fifth annual San Diego Film Week will include special screenings from film communities around the pacific southwest including California, Arizona, and Nevada. Filmmakers from California (outside of San Diego), Nevada, and Arizona are invited to participate in San Diego Film Week 2021/2022. Of special consideration are independent films made by independent filmmakers in those regions. San Diego Film Week accepts short and feature narrative and documentary films, webisodes, music videos, and, commercials from student and professional/independent filmmakers. San Diego Film Week highlights: Screenings from local film festivals Films produced in San Diego's Film Industry Workshops and Panels "Emerging Filmmakers Exhibition" Preview Night and Opening Red Carpet Gala featuring A-List Acting Awards and Emerging Actors Awards.
