SEDIFF : Seoul ICARUS Drone International Film Festival

Seoul ICARUS Drone International Film Festival (SEDIFF) held in Seoul, Korea from October 21, 2016 to October 27, 2016 is the newest and the most innovative film festival. ‘The wing of Icarus’ symbolizes the human’s longing for unchartered world. Putting this spirit of Icarus in the film festival, SEDIFF is trying to display cinema and creative visual world beyond it in Seoul, the center of Asia. SEDIFF is a film festival encompassing all visual sections, and embraces submission of all visual images created since 2013, including full-length film, short film, documentary, animation, MV, advertisement, VR, AR and drone-filmed image. Submission is for free of charge. The motto of the 1st SEDIFF is ‘Creativity, Newness and Convergence. You can submit all forms of visual works full of your fresh ideas and passion for cinema. Do submit your film to this innovative 1st film festival not limiting the area of the creation. In the most dynamic city Seoul, this is the first step you can be just the protagonist of film festival which is planning to kick off in Yeouido, the center of Seoul. The 1st Seoul ICARUS Drone International Film Festival shall - stand in the front ‘The Wings of Icarus’ symbolizing the human’s longing for unchartered world and ‘drone’ to open a new prospect of filming with the cutting-edge technology; - seek a meeting of art and technology which can realize the free and creative world of art with cutting-edge equipment; - based thereon, move forward to the film festival being on the cutting-edge of imaginary culture. The 1st Seoul ICARUS Drone International Festival shall be held from Oct. 21, 2016 to Oct. 27, 2016, and the Seoul ICARUS Drone International Film Festival from Oct. 23, 2016 to Oct. 25, 2016 at 2 screens of CGV theater, Yeouido, Seoul. However, some final selections may be shown at Floating Stage in Yeouido, Seoul during the whole festival period.
