Semana Internacional De Cine Fantástico De Costa Del Sol

SPANISH VERSION: La Semana Internacional de Cine Fantástico de La Costa del Sol es un festival de cine del género terror y fantástico que se celebra anualmente. La primera edición se celebró el 11 al 16 de septiembre de 2000. En aquella ocasión, la película ganadora del Unicornio de Oro fue The Ring, que obtuvo un importante éxito de taquilla en nuestro país. La edición rindió homenaje a la británica Caroline Muro, actriz fetiche del cine de terror, con la proyección de la película El aullido del diablo, dirigida por Paul Naschy, y se realizó un “homenaje al Cine Fantaterrorífico” con la proyección de películas de Narciso Ibáñez Serrador (La residencia, ¿Quién puede matar a un niño?), Jesús Franco (Gritos en la noche, El Conde Drácula), y Paul Naschy (El retorno del hombre lobo, y El Caminante). Hasta el día de hoy se siguen sumando ediciones, este año se celebra la XXII edición del Festival, Este año la sección de cortometrajes se reinventa siendo coordinada por Miguel Carrillo. ENGLISH VERSION: The International Horror and Fantasy Film Week of La Costa del Sol is a film festival of the horror and fantasy genre that is held annually. The first edition was held from September 11 to 16, 2000. On that occasion, the winning film of the Golden Unicorn was The Ring, which was a blockbuster in our country.
