Shastaland Children's Film Festival

Beginning its third season, Shastaland Children's Film Festival (SCFF) brings high-quality films that present familiar and novel people, places, and experiences to the families of Shasta County and the rest of Northern California. This year we are looking for artistic films about science, technology, engineering, and math. Yes, math! If your film focuses on topics such as environmentalism, space, or even how a bridge is built, it may be exactly what we are looking for. As always we want fun, creative, films that will inspire kids ages 7-12. Remember, the universe is the limit. The SCFF is free for everyone, thus making this culturally-rich event available to all. This is true even for filmmakers. There are no submission fees to the SCFF. While we definitely want to see new and highly-creative films, we cannot accept those containing gratuitous violence, nudity, or profanity. Please consider submitting if you feel your film is right for the SCFF. We look forward to considering your work.
