SHOOUTOUT! Two-Day Filmmaking Challenge

SHOOTOUT! is a quick-draw filmmaking challenge testing your filmmaking marksmanship by giving you the chance to make an AMAZING short film in two days! 5 chosen filmmaking teams will create a film based on pre-selected scripts provided by the entrants. Entrants must submit the script you intend to make for the competition and a link to at least one of your previous films. You may also select a script from our the Script Pool provided by 3rd Page: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/a52ypxauu2vsvqq/AADQzqQX9Xs2AJdEYKDG4iuaa?dl=0 Scripts must not exceed 10 pages of standard screenplay format/spacing. Starting Friday, Jan. 13th, 2017 each team has until Sunday evening, Jan. 15th, to shoot and post their film with a screening and celebration to be held that Sunday night. The films will be judged by a panel of industry veterans with the winning film receiving $5,000 in cash, goods and services toward their next short film! A Canon C300 camera with lens and tripod, along with a small lighting/sound package will be provided to the filmmakers by Canon, Samy’s, Birns and Sawyer, Adobe, Filmmakers Alliance and other partners. A pool of acting talent will also be made available by Deborah Lemen Acting Studio. All else will be the responsibility of the selected filmmakers.
