Short Sighted Cinema CIC is now open for submissions for our annual film festival, THE SHORTEST NIGHTS. Each year we curate a collection of exciting, entertaining and high-quality programmes celebrating the best in British short film. We are a BIFA qualifying festival and now in our 7th year.
Short Sighted Cinema CIC is a short film initiative run by screen actor, Gem Carmella. We programme unique events across the UK, working with with festivals, arts hubs and community cinemas to support filmmakers and bring new audiences to British short film.
Films for this collection must have been created within the last 2 years by filmmakers living, working or studying in the UK, inclusive of British Filmmakers working overseas.
