SILBERSALZ Science & Media Awards

SILBERSALZ Science & Media Awards, in association with Jackson WILD, recognizes and celebrates the achievements of scientists and communicators who are working to solve many of today's challenges, of content creators who fascinate and inspire audiences worldwide through their stories, of those who encourage the next generation to engage with STEM subjects through global outreach, and of individuals promoting science and evidence, advancing the public discussion around global issues. What are we looking for? For 8 categories, we are looking for original, creative factual documentaries, series, social media productions and immersive works dealing with a range of scientific disciplines, including natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, engineering and medicine. Stories showing the latest advancements and discoveries, future scenarios, or global solutions to challenging issues, designed to encourage scientific and geopolitical debates. Submissions from all countries are welcomed. SILBERSALZ is an innovative film and science festival, taking place from 15-19.06.2022 in Halle (Saale). Combining film screenings, installations, lectures, workshops and panel discussions, SILBERSALZ makes science accessible to the general public in a clear and vivid fashion.
