Skoden Indigenous Film Festival

Skoden Indigenous Film Festival is back for its fourth-year and will once again take place in the beginning of April 2022 within the shared territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples (Vancouver, British Columbia). Formed by the School of Contemporary Art at Simon Fraser University (SFU), this festival aims to create an inclusive space for Canadian based Indigenous filmmakers. Writers, Directors, producers, and Lead Performers of all ages and experience levels can represent their film virtually (and potentially on the big screen) in 2022. Additionally, our goal is to Indigenize the SFU community and amplify the voices of Canadian Indigenous artists. The Festival will be organized by students at SFU. We want to create more proactive conversations and spaces for reconciliation. Skoden!
