Solidando Film Festival

Solidando Onlus is an Italian non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 2004 and based in Cagliari, the main city in Sardinia island in Italy. We are a group of free people, all volunteers, and our commitment is to help low-income countries improving educational growth and reduce social disadvantage through specific projects. We are not connected to any religious faith or any political party. At the moment our main projects are located in Nicaragua and Madagascar, places where the illiteracy rate reaches high percentages, poverty is the standard of life, and where there is a big lack of opportunities for social development. We work to improve life's conditions, but even more to make people acquire consciousness of their individual and collective capability, including their potentials to develop and build their own future with their own hands and education.
