The mission & goal of the Sustainable-Stories.org Film Fest is to screen and award short films about sustainable solutions & lifestyles. The screenings will take place at the University of Houston - Clear Lake’s state of the art 500-seat Bayou Theater, along with a jointly-themed exhibition at the university’s art gallery. The festival will not only expose students, faculty & staff of the university to ideas and concepts of sustainability, but the whole larger Houston – Galveston community. We also want to empower filmmakers who are working on sustainability-related subjects. The films will be selected for the screenings by professionals in both the areas of filmmaking and sustainability.
The judging will be done by experts in the field of both sustainability and filmmaking.
