Tamworth Short Film Festival

Our goal is to create an environment in which filmmakers feel a sense of community and support. The Tamworth Short Film Festival brings together experienced and novice regional filmmakers to meet, collaborate, learn and have fun. By showcasing the work of these filmmakers we give rural NSW a chance to see just how talented and creative these local artists are. The festival draws people from far and wide to view the films, discuss, and meet like minded film enthusiasts. Judged by a panel of industry experts, filmmakers get a chance to not only show off to mates but to receive invaluable feedback on their projects, as well as some kick ass prizes! The official selection VIP event held the night before the festival is a must for all filmmakers lucky enough to have been chosen by the panel.
