TIFF - Experimental & Animation, Without Dialogue

Tatsuno is located 100 km west of Osaka, Japan. This year is the second edition of this film festival. Last year, the people of Tatsuno organized a new experiment: the Tatsuno International Film Festival - Experimental & Animation Without Dialogue. In 2021, the NPO "Hito Machi Art" will take over the cultural activities of the "Tatsuno Art Project," which began in 2011, and manage this film festival. We are working to utilize the cultural heritage that remains in the region, to disseminate excellent art internationally, and to promote communication with local residents. 日本の大阪から西に100kmに龍野はあります。今年第２回となる本映像祭。短編実験映像と台詞の無い短編アニメーションを対象とする龍野国際映像祭を龍野の人々が昨年企画しました。2021年には、2011年から始まった『龍野アートプロジェクト』の文化活動をNPO法人ひとまちあーとが引き継ぎ、本映像祭を運営しています。地域に残る文化遺産を活用し、すぐれた芸術を国際発信し、また地域住民とのコミュニケーションをはかることを目指して活動してきました。
