Based in Brussels since 2005, it encourages do-it-yourself filmmaking, political irreverence and creative experimentation. Its recurring programmes include Born 2 Be Cheap for low-budget films, Courts Mais Trash Deluxe for better-funded productions, and Female Trouble for feminist themes. Audiences choose the competition winners, and the festival also presents school screenings and professional events for young filmmakers. The 21st edition runs alongside Queer Mais Trash, the LGBTQIA+ programme established in 2019. The 2026 festival dates are 20–26 November, with screenings at Espace Magh on 20–22 November and Les Riches-Claires on 24–26 November.",false,[22],{"year":23,"hasAwards":20,"hasSelection":15},"2023",[],[26],{"key":27,"title":9,"filmIds":28},"more",[29],577,[29],[32],{"entryId":29,"urlTitle":33,"status":7,"title":34,"synopsis":35,"duration":36,"hasFullFilm":15,"hasTrailer":20,"image":37,"directors":38,"series":17},"cherry-on-the-cake-chloe-farr-belgium-2020-0536","Cherry on the Cake","Babysitter Dani is warned not to touch a tempting cake while looking after twins.
