It presents itself as a meeting point between cinema, social activism and critical thinking, built on a curated selection of fiction, animation and documentary films by emerging filmmakers whose work has travelled the international festival circuit. The programme is divided into thematic sections — among them Periferias, Otra estación on asylum and refuge in Europe, Tránsitos on LGBTI+ realities, Hijas de Guy on feminist perspectives and Silencios rotos on democratic memory — and is accompanied by talks and parallel activities. Screenings travel across the region, from cultural centres in Xixón, Uviéu and Avilés to bookshops and schools, and MUSOCmocedá brings together young people aged 16 to 30 around social cinema. The showcase publishes its own newspaper, Perroflauta News, and presents the Chema Castiello award. The XIV edition runs from 10 to 31 January 2026.",false,[23],{"year":24,"hasAwards":21,"hasSelection":16},"2023",[],[27],{"key":28,"title":29,"filmIds":30},"more","",[31],285,[31],[34],{"entryId":31,"urlTitle":35,"status":7,"title":36,"synopsis":37,"duration":38,"hasFullFilm":16,"hasTrailer":16,"image":39,"directors":40,"series":18},"in-nature-marcel-barelli-switzerland-2021","In Nature","A playful animated documentary about same-sex couples in the animal kingdom.
