Its national competition covers fiction, documentary, animation and experimental film. The event moves to a different Croatian city each year, and its programme combines recent productions with filmmaker retrospectives, films by previous award recipients, international guest programmes and discussions. The Croatian Film Association organizes the Revue, whose history dates to 1969.
