Its competition recognizes fiction, documentary, experimental work and first films. Parallel screenings extend the programme through international guest selections and special screenings. The festival dates back to 2001 and its founders are Pierre Sarraf and Nadim Tabet. The dates for the 13th edition are 17–21 September 2018 at Beirut Souks CinemaCity.
