Based in Cusco, Peru, it is organized by the Charlie Quispe & Co Cultural Association and traces its origins to the Videos Multiculturales event of 2010. Its focus on experimental visual languages dates from 2013. Alongside its open competition, an exchange programme circulates Peruvian and Latin American work abroad and introduces international work to audiences in Peru. The 2019 edition dates are 25–30 November at the Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano de Cusco. Festival calls remain on hold following their suspension in 2020 during the health crisis. The team develops the VideoBabel online platform, which provides free access to cultural films and videos already available legally online and to works in the public domain.",false,[23
"2015",[],[27
"more","",[31],12196,[31],[34
"the-day-of-the-bleeding-gums-dimitar-dimitrov","The Day of the Bleeding Gums","A painter reflects on creativity and mortality, imagining a journey in which even death…",5,"/img/films/_th600/the-day-of-the-bleeding-gums-dimitar-dimitrov-12pwmcgq.webp",[41],"Dimitar Dimitrov",[]]
