The festival presents independent and international cinema for children, teenagers and families at venues across Providence, Rhode Island. Its programme spans features and shorts in live action, animation, documentary and experimental filmmaking, with workshops and conversations around the screenings. The Youth Filmmaker Showcase presents work by filmmakers aged 6–17 and gives them opportunities to discuss their creative process. Film listings include age recommendations and guidance on challenging themes. The nonprofit organisation also offers screenings and film education throughout the year.
