Michelle Natalie Nuñez is an American actress born to a single immigrant mother in the military with Nigerian and Dominican roots. Her studies began at the largest performing arts conservatory in the Southeast, the Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, and continued with classical Shakespeare teachers like USC's Armin Shimerman. She appeared in the regional premiere production of Theresa Rebeck's Broadway play 'Seminar' and was awarded best actress for her work in the independent short film 'Social Silence' soon after. Her most recent film and television work include a series regular role on the BET drama 'Ruthless,' directed by Tyler Perry, and a variety of independent films including the Tribeca Film Festival award-winning feature, 'God's Waiting Room.'
