Victor Orozco Ramirez

Victor Orozco Ramirez is a Mexican-born independent filmmaker based in Germany, known for experimental short film essays that blend documentary and animation. He studied industrial design at the University of Guadalajara and holds a master's degree in fine arts in documentary filmmaking from the Academy of Fine Arts (HfBK) Hamburg. From 2005 to 2012 he co-curated, with filmmaker Dario Aguirre, the short film festival ambulart in Germany, Ecuador and Mexico. Since 2002 he has directed animated and documentary shorts, including Squarehead, Reality 2.0, 32-Rbit and Saarvocado.
