Beck Kitsis

Beck Kitsis (she/her) is a filmmaker and musician based in Brooklyn. She was selected for the 57th New York Film Festival/Lincoln Center Artist Academy, the Sundance Screenwriting Intensive, and Women at Sundance’s Financing Intensive. She wrote/directed THE THREE MEN YOU MEET AT NIGHT (Fantastic Fest 2020) and Hulu's RED IS THE COLOR OF BEAUTY (Bite Size Halloween 2021), before co-writing/co-directing VALENTINE (Tribeca 2022). Beck also wrote an episode and was slated to direct on Sam Raimi’s 50 STATES OF FRIGHT for Quibi before the platform went defunct. Producing credits include NARROWSBURG (DOC NYC 2019), THE RAT (Sundance 2019), and THE INCONCEIVABLE MOUNTAIN (NoBudge - Best Films of 2019). Currently, Beck is co-writing/producing the Sundance and Cinereach supported horror film STRAWBERRY SUMMER and co-writing/co-directing the queer home invasion film DEER IN THE WOOD. Beck’s music and music videos for her bands SIGNAL and The Meltaways have been featured in several publications, including NYLON, Pitchfork, and Stereogum. She co-founded the New York-based filmmaking collective NITE SHIFT in 2016
