Mirai Mizue is a Japanese animation filmmaker and illustrator born in Fukuoka in 1981. He studied animation at Tama Art University and creates abstract films using cell-like forms and geometric shapes. His practice includes independent short films, music videos and commercials. He was a founding member of the independent animation label CALF and has also worked as a curator and festival selection committee member.
