Oksana Kholodova is a Russian animation director, screenwriter and production designer, born in Kursk in 1967. She graduated from the Abramtsevo Art College in 1987, worked as a designer at the Kursk Youth Theatre from 1988 to 1991 and has worked in animation since 1996. After designing films such as From the Life of Robbers (2002) and The Music Shop (2003), she made her directing debut with Rumpelstiltskin (2007). Since then she has written, designed and directed her own hand-drawn films, including The Prosecutor's Son Saves the King (2009), Buroba (2012) and Tarasque (2018), several of them produced by the Animos studio.
