Maria Stepanova

She studied at the Animation Workshop of the Moscow Film Lyceum named after A.Tarkovsky (1990-92), at VGIK (workshop for directing an animated film by S.M.Sokolov; 1992-97), at the graduate school of VGIK (2001-03; thesis topic - "Computer special effects on the material of Hollywood cinema of the last decade of the twentieth century"). Candidate of Art History. In 2002-03 she trained at the Film Academy of Munich, Germany. In 2000-06 – animation teacher at the Real Time school (Moscow), in 2004-06 – animation teacher at VGIK. Director of a number of commercials, video clips and TV shows. It works in several technologies: coffee animation, computer rearrangement, Flash animation, etc.
