Libor Nemeskal

Libor Nemeskal is a film editor, producer and lecturer. He graduated from Charles University in Prague (BA in Film History and Aesthetics) and from Tomas Bata University in Zlín (MFA in Film Editing, PhD in Multimedia and Design). Since 2003, he has edited more than one hundred audiovisual projects of different genres (music videos, advertisements, TV series, animated, documentary and feature films). He is mainly known for his work on films as Ham Story (2012), Where Do Wild Butterflies Go? (2012) or The Czech Film Avant-Garde (2015). Since 2010, Libor has been active in the academic field. He worked as a head of the Department of Animation and Audiovisual Arts and as a vice-dean for creative activities at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. In 2015, Libor has been selected for a Fulbright-Masaryk grant. He spent seven months as a visiting researcher at Chapman University and also as an assistant editor in production companies in Los Angeles, California. Nowadays, Libor works as a lecturer and he is also a film editor and producer in a production company Bare Bear Studio.
