Frank Ternier

Frank Ternier is a film director and graphic designer. He is a “Jack of all trades” in the image sector. He created the association L'Astronef to serve many creative projects, he co-directed two short films alongside Charles Eric Petit, including "La Pearl Split" with the participation of Jean Rochefort. He collaborate with Alexis Armengol and La Cie Théâtre à Cru by producing videos for several shows, he will also be on stage in some of them ... Frank make his first animated film "Le di@ble en bouche", which in 2011 received special mention for professional films at the AFCA National Animated Film Festival. Then, he co-scripted and co-directed a comedy series "We come in peace" with Frédéric Dufau and Jérôme Dupin. He founded the "ideal crash" collective in 2011 to devote more time to realization and experimentation; New projects were born of this new dynamic, notably his animated short "8 balles" pre-bought by Arte France, this film received a warm welcome with an official selection in Cannes as part of the Directors' Fortnight and then at the Tiff (Toronto ), In the AFIfest (Los Angeles) and in nearly 100 festivals around the world… As a follow-up to this success, he writes and directed the animated film "Riot" - a co-production the image after and Arte... He is currently finishing the screenwriting of short film : " Call me Yumi " and "The Absurd Luck of the Spectator" and he begins writing his next animated film "Anton"
