Wouter Bongaerts

Having almost 12 years experience as a freelance animator, motion designer and short film director, he is now looking for new opportunities living in Germany.
While doing a lot of commercial work for agencies and animation studios in the past, he has written and directed several short films.
Mia was his professional directional debut and the short film was produced at Creative Conspiracy, an animation studio based in Gent. The film travelled the globe picking up prizes in Clermont-Ferrand, the Austin Film Festival and Anima Brussels among others. The short also made it to the Academy Oscars longlist selection.
