Yutaro Kubo
久保 雄太郎
Animation filmmaker born in Oita, Japan, in 1990. He studied animation at Tokyo Polytechnic University and at the Graduate School of Film and New Media of the Tokyo University of the Arts, and has worked as a freelancer since 2014, making short animations by hand with ink and other drawing materials. His films have been nominated at festivals including Annecy, Zagreb and Ottawa, and have won the Best Gallery Film prize at Anima Mundi in Brazil and the Best Online prize at PISAF in South Korea.
