Viktória Traub
Victoria Traub, assistant professor in the Department of Cinematography and Communication at VMI, won a grant for her new film project "Love or Leave" in the National Film Institute's Animated Film Competition.
- Whereas "Mermaids" was a story about the break-up of a family, "Love or Leave" uses the metaphor of half-animal-half-human to show through the love story of a centaur girl that our instincts are not something to fight or suppress, but to learn to live with them. "I have always been attracted to zoomorphic, mythological and anthropomorphic creatures, they offer many playful possibilities and allow me as a director and designer to easily experience the freedom of the animation genre," shared Victoria Traub.
