Carolina Sandvik

Carolina Sandvik is a Swedish artist and filmmaker based in Malmö who works mainly in stop-motion animation. Born in Avesta in 1988, she studied screenwriting, sculpture and film studies and received a Master of Fine Arts from Malmö Art Academy in 2019. Her short films often draw directly on film history, especially the horror genre, and have screened at festivals such as South by Southwest, Sitges and Tallinn Black Nights.
