Valere Amirault

Valere Amirault, born in 1986 is a French director based in Paris. After studying animation at Supinfocom, his graduation film, 8BITS, was selected for multiple festivals and awarded several times, notably at the Sundance International Festival. After working in London and New York, he returned to France in 2012 where he worked in supervision and 3D animation. In 2016 he released his second short film "Symphony of Two minds" which launched his directorial career. He is also a founding member of the collective "Chemical Bouillon" which produces videos and live performances mixing art and chemistry (M tour, Oxmo Puccino, villa Medici,..). Since 2018, he has been developing an animation style, mixing 2D and 3D animation, adapted to the constraints of independent productions.
