Raul ‘Robin’ Morales Reyes

Considered by FORBES as one of the 100 most creative Mexicans in the world, Raúl Robin Morales is a Mexican author, designer, illustrator, musician, dancer, and filmmaker.

In 2012, he made The Trumpeter, internationally awarded, with the support of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography.

In 2014, he produced and directed Amicus, with the support of independent producers from Canal 22 and in 2016, he directed Las Piezas del Rompecabezas, the first original short film from Canal Once.

In 2018, he won the Ciclic Residency and the Folimage Artist-in-Residence at the Annecy festival to produce his latest short film, El Tigre sin Rayas, which has toured the world in more than 120 festivals in more than 40 countries for the five continents and, currently, eligible for the 2021 Oscars for best animated short film.

He creator of the animated series Devin Fangs, Red and Blue, Jon, Frustrated Detective, Diversiville, Coco & Yoko. Director of the animated film Las Piezas del jigsaw, the first original animated production of Channel Once in its history. Writer and illustrator of the children's book El Tigre sin Rayas, adapted into a short and feature film. Director of the Celtic music festival of Mexico. Irish dancer, percussionist and bagpiper in his musical group Lowen, he is currently responsible for the image of the children's bar Once Niños and the creation of its conductor puppets: Alan, Staff and Lucy.
