Arevik d'Or
Arevik d'Or is a Belgium based freelance animation film director, illustrator, cartoonist.
In 2017 she published her first interactive alphabet book GIRO as author and illustrator, which won a "White Raven 2018“, a prestigious annual selection of the best International children's and youth literature. During the last 7 years she has illustrated several successful picture books in collaboration with Belgian and Dutch publishing houses.
Her cartoons are weekly published in De Standaard Magazine in Belgium. Every week, Anna, a woman with life-as-it-is-now illustrates daily life with detailed observations, self relativization and humor.
From 2017 till now Arevik d'Or produces animations for the editorial and commercial clients based on illustrative works of internationally acclaimed illustrator, art director and lecturer Klaas Verplancke.
In 2022, Klaas Verplancke and Arevik d'Or have co-founded animation studio "Pomid'Or", an organic graphic studio that invites international animation talents under one umbrella of organic filmmaking.
