Konstantinos Koukoulios

Born in Athens, Greece, Konstantinos studied filmmaking at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Fine Arts and specialised early as a Cinematographer.

He was selected to participate in the Berlinale Talents program for Cinematographers during the 65th Berlin International Film Festival. "Copa-Loca" (2017) premiered at the 70th Cannes Film Festival "Director's Fortnight". His latest short "Hector Malot: The Last Day of the Year" won the Leica Cine Discovery Award as the best short of the 57th Critics Week at the 71st Cannes Film Festival. "Pity", his first feature film, had it's world premiere at Sundance Film Festival '18, World Dramatic Competition.

Konstantinos’ work includes filming a documentary in the Amazon Forest, a documentary in Iceland, two documentaries in the United States, commercials in Shanghai, a short film in Colombia and the latest short film for Netflix in Tanzania.

He has been lensing TV Commercials since 2013, working with leading advertising agencies and production companies in Athens and abroad.

A member of the Greek Society of Cinematographers GSC since 2021.
