Vanessa Beletic

Born and raised in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Vanessa’s first narrative short film Catching Spirits won the Jury Award Live Action Shorts 2022 making it Academy Qualified. Vanessa is 1 of 8 women selected for AFI’s DWW class of 2024. Vanessa tells stories that are grounded in reality with characters who defy the odds, by way of magic, perseverance or straight up hustle.
