Pauline Egan

Pauline Egan was born in Benowa, Queensland, Australia and grew up in rural South-East Queensland on a farm. She first started out as a trained dancer and classical pianist at age 7, and also performed in musicals and plays in her small home town from a young age. She then began pursuing a career in film and television acting when she was 19 years old and landed her first major network television role at age 23 in Canada, playing recurring Guest Star role of 'Dr Erika Myers' in the popular Syfy channel series 'Sanctuary' (seasons 3 and 4). To date, she has appeared in numerous Australian, Canadian and American film and television productions on Netflix, Amazon, CW, Spike TV, ABC, Hallmark, Lifetime, LMN, SYFY, Ion, Nickelodeon and TNT.

Pauline is a global activist for clean water, health, gender equality and social justice and works with FACE Africa to help communities in Sub-Saharan Africa get access to the basic essentials for health, development and empowerment. She is trained medical professional. In recent years, Pauline has expanded her creative pursuits into writing, directing, producing and film score composing. She made her debut as a writer/director/producer/composer on the award winning 2014 black and white silent film, 'Through the Pane'.
