Julia von Heinz

The German film director won the 2007 German Film Award for the Best Children’s and Youth Film with her debut Nothing Else Matters, which premiered at the Berlinale. And Tomorrow the Entire World screened in competition at the 77th Venice Film Festival and was nominated for Best Film at the 2021 German Film Awards. Treasure is the third part of her Aftermath trilogy which deals with the repercussions of the Holocaust in Germany and around the world.
