Philipp Schaeffer

Philipp Schaeffer is a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer based in Hamburg. After graduating in Philosophy from King's College London, he spent two years traveling between Los Angeles, the Canadian Arctic and Berlin, working on augmented reality projects and a documentary cross-media project about Inuit youth. He is currently studying documentary filmmaking at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. His work has been nominated for the German Film Critics Award and screened at festivals such as Sundance, Camerimage and DokFest Munich. Philipp's first feature film "Haus 4" is about the therapy process of violent juvenile delinquents and is currently in post-production.
