Mette Carla Albrechtsen

Mette Carla Albrechtsen studied creative communication at the Graphic Arts Institute in Copenhagen and worked in different advertising agencies before attending the National Film School of Denmark, where she graduated as a multi-camera director and studio producer in 2009. She and Lea Glob won the Nordic Talent Pitch Prize in 2011 for their film project HUMAN FEMALE SEXUALITY (2011). Selected for IDFA First Appearance Competition is Albrechtsen and Glob's feature-length documentary elaborating further on the theme of female desire, VENUS (2016). The film is Albrechtsen's first long documentary. Her last project RESORTS was selected for CPH:FORUM 2022.
